The nuts are grown according to organic farming methods, meaning no synthetic fertilisers or pesticides are used but, on the contrary, green fertilisers and crop rotation. The hazelnuts are shelled and the first cold pressing. Organic virgin hazelnut oil is particularly well known for its unique flavoursome taste (subtle and different). It brings out the flavours in everything else.This oil is also a good source of oleic acid (helps reduce bad cholesterol). In addition, this oil has great skin-penetrating properties (helps keep it rehydrated).
