This 72% cocoa solids chocolate has an up-front flavour without being too intense. Naturally, it is enriched with extra goodness - lactobacillus rhamnosus is used in this bar to provide an additional boost of healthy bacteria. The general properties of lactobacilli are to maintain a healthy and balanced intestinal microbiota and reduce the incidence of intestinal infections, and is frequently recommended to prevent unbalanced intestinal microflora. Based on scientific advice from the manufacturer, a quantity of lactobacillus rhamnosus is used in this product that is understood to achieve these known beneficial effects.
